GRASS IS GREENER AT BOISVERT

Boisvert Chevrolet Buick GMC has always been very involved in the MRC Thérèse-de-Blainville, mainly in terms of culture, sport and business. To do our part in the environmental aspect, we have implemented our project GRASS IS GREENER (PLUS VERT QUE CHEZ LE VOISIN!)

With this project, our commitment is to plant 1 tree per electric vehicle sold and to install several charging stations for electric vehicles over the next few years.

"We hope to plant 150 trees a year for a total of 450 trees after three years. By supporting the sale of electric vehicles by planting trees, we encourage the reduction of polluting gases in the air. "

We intend to become the leader in electric vehicles in the area.

The ideal place we have chosen to plant the trees is the Parc du Domaine Vert. It is a forest park belonging to the municipalities of Blainville, Boisbriand, Mirabel and Sainte-Thérèse. Its vocation is outdoor, and respect for the environment is fundamental. The activities offered are aimed at families, school groups and businesses.

The planting will be done through an annual BBQ-style activity which will be done under the marquee of the Parc du Domaine Vert in the spring. Electric vehicle buyers and our employees will be invited. It will be a real gathering of electric vehicles!

Our partnership with the Parc du Domaine Vert amounts to $ 30,000 for the next three years. That's not all, the Green Project will add seven new charging stations in the region, including two at the Parc du Domaine Vert.

In order to support reforestation, Les Jardins Dion informed us about the choice of tree species to plant and we will help with horticultural supplies and advice.

Incentives still effective

You can take advantage of a $ 13,000 rebate from the Provincial and Federal governments with the purchase of an electric vehicle. There are also incentives for the installation of residential charging station.
